Claire Gilmour

FOUNDER, PRESIDENT AND DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Claire is driven, determined, tenacious and passionate about creating a support network for families connected to ASD. Claire's life changed when as a single mother, she moved from New Zealand back to the Sunshine Coast and her 4 year old son Cooper was diagnosed with Autism. Facing the diagnosis on her own, she realised the importance of being involved with a like-minded community and having access to ASD referrals and resources.
Also apparent was the need for an organisation on the Coast that could help families navigate appropriate programs to assist with the development of social and life skills and as such, The Autism Treehouse was born.
